1. Grant Request – FLBD Grant Request
Decision Required: Whether to approve.
        
Attached is the grant request for consideration.

2. Curbside Composting Pilot Program Proposal
Decision Required: Whether to pursue.

The Mayor and Town Council have had discussions regarding curbside composting.  The Director of Public Works has pursued the Town’s inclusion in the County program.  The County has agreed to allow the Town of Cheverly to participate in a pilot program for 100 residents.  Mr. Torres has provided a memorandum on the program for consideration.  The Town must have 100 residents agree to participate before the program can begin.

3. Tree Cutting Proposal
Decision Required: Whether to pursue.

CM Riazi distributed materials at the last Worksession that will be up for discussion.  The proposal calls for a restriction/permitting of the removal of trees on private property.

4. Theft from Autos
Decision Required: Whether to pursue.

The Mayor is proposing the purchase and installation of surveillance cameras on residents’ property to monitor activity in the public right-of-way.  The Town Attorney has been asked to review the legality of this proposal. This item may have to be deferred if information requested is not available.

5. Medical Terrace Church
Decision Required: None.

CM Riazi has added this item to the agenda and will address.

6. Discussion – Town Attorney Replacement
Decision Required: The process for replacement.
        
Mr. Colaresi announced his retirement at the first of January 2017.   The Mayor and Council must discuss the method to finding his replacement.

7. Outdoor Recreation Classes
Decision Required: Whether to approve.

The Mayor has added this item and will address.
